Tyne Coast College was formed in August 2017 from the merger of TES FE Awards 2017 ‘College of the Year’ and ‘Provider of the Year’ winner South Tyneside College, and Tyne Metropolitan College, in North Tyneside. Their exceptional brands include South Tyneside College, Tyne Metropolitan College, Queen Alexandra Sixth Form College; one of the North East’s top performing sixth forms, and South Shields Marine School; a world-leading maritime training centre.

Our brand new, state-funded technical school specialises in IT courses and Health Science courses for 14-19 year olds.

Situated in the heart of Newcastle, our UTC is for ambitious students looking to get a head-start in the workplace. A UTC education enables you to apply learning to relevant and real-life contexts, supported by cutting-edge research facilities, staff and our sponsors.
