IT Technician, Tyne Coast Academy Trust
Salary £29,064 - £31,022 per annum

The successful candidate will work as a member of the Trust’s central IT support team to ensure the reliable provision of schools IT systems and services.
The role will involve working across TCAT sites learning all aspects of IT support including installation, set-up, upgrading, maintenance and support of a wide range of IT equipment and supporting school staff and pupils with IT issues, undertaking repairs to equipment and installing software. You will also support the provision of a professional first line technical advisory and diagnostic service to staff and students within a service desk environment.
The ideal candidate will be customer focussed, with a proactive attitude, the role will involve extensive interaction with a diverse range of staff and students so the ability to develop professional relationships is essential as are strong IT skills with experience of working in an IT support role and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. There is also a requirement to be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
